Some Facts About The Chalcedony Stone!

The Chalcedony stone is a variety of quartz found all over the world in a
various colors. The light blue waxy translucent variety is most often associated
with jewelry. A sacred stone to the Native American Indians, it was often used
in spiritual ceremonies.

Chalcedony was thought to increase stamina and vitality, and to promote
emotional balance, brotherhood and goodwill.

Ancient Greek fishermen in the third century wore Chalcedony amulets since it
was thought to protect them from drowning.

Among one of the hardest forms of quartz, Chalcedony is heat resistant and
requires very little care to maintain it's translucent shine, making it an
excellent stone in jewelry designs.
